Amy Chow

Born and raised in San Jose, California, Amy Chow was one of the "Magnificent Seven", the first U.S. team to win gold in the Olympics at the 1996 Games held in Atlanta, Georgia.  In addition to winning team gold, Chow also won a silver medal on the bars.  She was known for performing very difficult moves, particularly on the balance beam.   Chow was also a pianist, pole vaulter, and diver.  She attended Stanford University as an undergrad and graduated from Stanford Medical School in 2007.  Above is her silver medal-winning performance at the 1996 Olympics.
